WiFi access on Nokia E71 using Airtel Beetel wifi router ?

Hi,

I am using, Beetel ADSL wifi router.

I am able to connect with network once I provide “Pre-Shared Key” but as browsing start after few seconds, I got message “no gateway reply”.

I tried following solution and none helped:

-provided IP4v setting / default gate/ with dns and without dns and all these, no luck
-make sure that lap-top and mobile are not connected simultaneously with router, no luck
-make sure DHCP is enabled on router
-make sure that no MAC address filter on router
-make sure that Broadcast SSID is ‘Yes’ (i.e. enabled)

-its working fine showroom from where I purchased, but no luck wih home network

Please help.

How to configure Belkin G Wireless router with Beetel 110BX1

Dear all,

I am a user of Airtel broadband. Recently i have purchased a wireless router from Belkin. As per the manual given i have trid to connect and configure it but alas! to sad i was not able to do so.

Could nybody please help me and write the detailed procedure to connect it….

Airtel 1699 FUP/Speed Upgrade Details

Dear All,

I called up Airtel and this is what I found out.Without informing the customers they have made the following changes:-

1699 Plan changed to 1699 Weekend Benefit Plan

*Speed Change -2mbps till 30 GB after which speed will drop to 1mbps
*100 rs free calling and 100 rs Speed on demand are still included in
the new plan.

However this plan is not available to prospective customers.

I questioned them as to why this change wasn’t notified to the existing customers on the registered emails. I didn’t get a satisfactory answer.

Further the supervisor informed me that since this plan was available only to existing customers, it has not been mentioned on the website.

The new plans have a limit of 50 GB after which the speed drops drastically to 256 kbps (lame!).

I asked them to notify the changes in writing because any verbal intimation cannot be considered as proof.

I was quite taken aback when the executive & the supervisor expressed their inability to provide these details over my email. I have had a complaint raised and expect an email from them.I’ll be taking this forward.

I believe it is quite unprofessional for any corporate company to make changes without notifying the customers. It also raises legitimate concerns about the gameplay here with broader ramifications.

I would advice all existing customers to call Airtel and ask for the implemented new plans changes in writing.It is your right and also will ensure that in future Airtel cannot tinker with the plans without intimation.

Airtel and Torrents

I am getting very low speed in torrents through Airtel Broadband :

I am using Asus RT-G32 router with Beetel modem, and unable to connect to peers. Torrent reflects "No incoming connections"/

I checked the Beetel Diagnostics page and the ATM OAM segment ping fails ??

>> Testing Ethernet LAN connection … PASS
>> Testing ADSL Synchronization .PASS
>> Testing ATM OAM segment ping … FAIL
>> Testing ATM OAM end to end ping …PASS

Hi to all

I am from Gurgaon

I used Airtel From 2005 to 2009.And it was pretty good then I shifted to Reliance(My biggest mistake)300 kbps plan The connection worked fine for 9 months but after that when I shifted to 600 kbps /1mbps plan then things got worse.There was no 24 hour connectivity you don’t even know when it is
working or not.In anger I just got my connection disconnected ,Now I am using Triple play broadband provided by my cable operator but .Though it has 24 hour connectivity but sometimes many sites don’t upload.I want to shift from this connection too.Please suggest me whether to go for

What ISP should I go for? (Leaving Airtel)

I’m leaving Airtel, had it for 4+ years and I’m sick of the slow speed. I pay for 256 or somethin, and I get 30kbps. What ISP should I go for, I hear Reliance is bad, and BSNL isn’t in my area.

Edit: BTW, what speeds do you people get from Airtel? When they say 256 do you actually get that speed?

1> how much effective airtel pc secure is?
2> is there any need to use any other anti virus?
3> is there any anti virus which i can install while pc secure still running?
4> which one is the best anti virus in the market?

Airtel(799 Plan) getting 1MBPS speed

i changed to airtel 2 months ago (From BSNL bcoz of very frustating CC)
My plan amount is Rs 799
I dont know the name of my Plan
its like
512KBps till 10GB
and 256KBPS after that and no free calls
But i used more than 10GB both the months and i saw no reduction in speeds
and suddenly this Month

I am tired of this BS. I have been dealing with this for the last few days. Last year when I was in India I configured the thing. I am currently out of the country and cannot deal with this from here.

The modem is a Beetel 110BX1 (192.168.1.1). It is connected to our EDIMAX wifi router (192.168.2.1) which in turn serves as the gateway to the devices.

The issue I have is that the beetel box is not connecting to the internet. I have gotten them to pull up the beetel modem’s summary page it doesnt seem to say its connected, and yet my dyndns.org for that location is responding. So somewhere this thing is actually on the internet, but it is not passing data through.

I have the airtel username / password with me, and if I remember right that was entered into the beetel box before. I couldnt find it (with them reading options on the phone). I have a feeling the issue is with the beetel modem.

What I need to do is
1. disable the NAT on the beetel modem (the EDIMAX router is capable of handling the PPPoE signon).
2. Get them back up and running.

Its a 2mb connection. They are located in Jodhpur Park, walking distance to south city mall.
