Migrated from Airtel 2 Reliance

Hi ALL,
I’ve changed my ISP from Airtel to Reliance. The ADSL Modem from Reliance is a BiPAC 5200s RF ADSL2+ Modem/Router with a Single Port. Am still in possesion of beetel 450TC1 ADSL2+ Router from Airtel!
My Question is:
1. Can I use the beetel 450TC1 ADSL2+ Router for my Reliance Connection?
2. If it’s possible then what are the Configurations that are required in the Router Settings!
3. If it’s not possible can I use the beetel 450TC1 ADSL2+ Router as a router alone by connecting it to BiPAC 5200s RF ADSL2+ Modem/Router?
4. If it’s possible then what are the Configurations that are required in the Router Settings!

I’ve read innumerable posts in this forum and am yet to get a solution!

hi guys,
currently i am using home 500c connection(isp bsnl) from last few years and the service is good except few up and downs !

now i am thinking of migrating to reliance combo 749 plan ! is that plan good ?
what will be the total charges after vat and tax **** ?
my local dealer says that currently the line is a km away from my home but he says i will get my connection in 1.5 months ??:confused: is this possible or he is just messing with me ?:mad:
i don’t think so that the reliance people will lay new line for me only ?

so guys please advise me is this combo plan is best ? speeds,latency,ping,service is good or so so ?

Hi Everybody,

I’m new on this forum. I was earlier using the reliance wimax service, 400 kbps for rs. 1000

But i wanted a faster connection so i’m shifting to the wired broadband, night booster 1 plan i.e. 1 mbps during the day and 2 mbps during the night.

I had a few querries. What download speed could i expect during the day and night? Can i connect the internet to a wireless router? Are there any hubs for DC++? How reliable is the internet i.e. does it disconnect very often or not? and finally is it better than the wimax?

Replies would be appreciated.

cannot access my public ip’s behind the router

hi,

Recently we bought a leased line from reliance and they have terminated with a l3 switch. They gave us wan ip addesss and our 16 public ip’s. i have configured my "linksys Dual-band wireless gigabit router model no : wrt320n" router with the folling wan ip’s eg: 115.248.156.212/30 on my internet connection setting of wan. and i have configured one of my given public ip(eg: 115.248.158.176/28) on the lan setup of my router. remaining ip’s are used on my pc’s.Nat is enabled on this router. the problem is i cannot access my public ips behind the router.

external ip for router 115.248.156.212/30

ip: 115.248.156.213
sm: 255.255.255.252
dg: 115.248.156.214

lan ip : 155.248.158.176 /28 (Public IP’s)

dns:L 202.138.103.100
202.138.96.47

please help me

i just disable the NAT from my router i working fine.

Dear friends,

I am from chennai. I am living in Nandanam area.
I planned to have a unlimited reliance wired broadband connection.
I have spoken with agent. They have given this below information for 600 kbs speed plan.

For 1st installation charge will be Rs.500
1. Modem free
2. Phone free
3. Free calls for Rs.50
( After this free call service each local call will be 50 Paise and STD will be 1 rupee.)
4. Incoming free

Then for each month rental will be around Rs.750

I would like to know that,

1. Is this the good plan, else any other good plan will be there with in this amount ?
2. Whether the charges will be the same as they said, or it will in crease ?
3. Whether the customer support is good in Reliance broadband ?
4. If I get this 600kbs connection, what will be the actual downloading speed ?
5.Whether reliance service is good in chennai, or its terrible ?
6. How the billing and customer service and all now ?
7. If I approach them to get a new connection, How log it will take ?

Note:
This is my first internet connection. So I need some help from you people for getting the good service.

I applied for Reliance wired connection on 16th July and was waiting for it to be installed and activated. I received a confirmation from reliance broadband services details like Subscriber ID/s etc. Later on there was no further information from reliance and I kept on waiting until I started follow-up with them from 26th Jul and sent email on 29th July. After this I recd a call from someone in installation dept saying that the service is not available at this location and they will be cancelling my application. Till this time the cheque that I gave in advance for installation charges was neither debited from my account nor presented. Later on, on 30th I saw that the amount has been debited and by this I thought that may be they have arranged for providing connection in my appartment. After that I have been simply following up with them but in vain. Can anyone suggest waht can be done in this case?
