Microsoft India has released the second version of its India-specific Live Search Maps, providing inter- and intra-city maps of 17 cities and highways in 16 States, covering 48,000 towns.

Releasing the newer version,Mr Ravi Datanwala, Group Manager (Live Search, Consumer and Online) of Microsoft India, said the company would allow business entities and corporates to use the Live Search platform to build their own location-based solutions.

The new version can be accessed at http://maps.live.co.in/ and http:// m.live.co.in. Live Search Maps India works on Microsoft’s Virtual Earth platform.
