US-based Ruckus Wireless teams up with Dell India to market Wi-Fi products

Ruckus Wireless, California-based wireless equipment supplier has joined hands with Dell India to commercialize its “Smart Wi-Fi Technology” for large corporate facilities and real estate projects.Under the agreement Ruckus Wireless will launch its flagship brand ‘ZoneFlex’ wireless local area network (WLAN), a multi-antenna arrangement distributing multi-media content over the standard 802.11 technology which the company claims will cut troubles like weak signals, poor coverage and high overhead costs found in Indian Wi-Fi environments.

The company said that it will launch two models in the country – ZoneFlex 2925 with six antennas and model 2942 with 12 antennas.
The company aims to leverage on Dell’s sales and marketing reach in the country.
